Actor Silambarasan has been vehemently supporting the Jallikattu cause this year even before it emerged as a state wide people protest.

Last week the multi talented actor burst out in anger when pro-Jallikattu protesters were allegedly attacked by police. He called for an urgent press meet and announced a silent protest wearing black shirt the next day at the entrance of his home and encouraged others to join the protest. He successfully conducted the protest and it had huge support from public.

Now the protest for Jallikattu has been taken over by the selfless youngsters of Tamil Nadu. Men and women have gathered in many places across the state including the Marina Beach Chennai and they are stay put in the protest location to press for an immediate concrete action from the Government in favor of conducting Jallikattu.

However there were reports suggesting that police refuse permission to take food and other essential items for protesters. This is seen as an attempt to forcefully disperse the protesting crowd.

For this Simbu has suggested a solution. He has requested all the people to protest in a main junction located at a walkable distance from their houses so that they can quench the urgent needs by going to home and come back immediately to the protest site.

The 'Manmathan' actor also requested the protesters not to block the pathways to hospitals and medical shops. He requested the employees of hospitals and medical shops to go ahead with their regular duty and not take part in the protest so that patients are not affected

The 33 year old actor said the people can gather for the protest in the above mentioned manner at 8 PM today (18th January) and not give up the protest until the ban on Jallikattu is lifted.
