A few months back there was a slight confusion as to who will be starring in the Tamil remake of Telugu super hit 'Temper'- Vishal or Silambarasan?

In the mid of March a new film was launched with a formal Pooja. This film had Silambarasan as the lead hero and Vijay Chander of 'Vaalu' fame as the director. It was said that this will be the remake of 'Temper'.

On the same day an announcement came from Vishal's stable, which said he has acquired the Tamil remake rights of 'Temper' and he will be starring in the lead role played by NTR Jr. in the original.

Now director Vijay Chander has clarified that his film with Simbu is not the remake of 'temper' and he has been penning a new script for his second film.

The young filmmaker revealed that Simbu will play a matured role in this film. The shooting will begin from the last week of August. The multi-talented star will be acting in two films simultaneously as he will start shooting for 'AAA' to be directed by Aadhik Ravichandran, from July.
