Is Siju Wilsons Priest look copied from Mammootty?

Actor Siju Wilson, of 'Premam' and 'Happy Weddings' fame, seems to have a busy year ahead. While the trailer of his upcoming movie 'Mariyam Vannu Vilakkoothi' is trending in social media, the first look poster of his yet-another project 'Varayan' is out. Lady Superstar Manju Warrier unveiled the poster through her social media handle.

It may be noticed that the actor's look and the poster shares an uncanny resemblance with that of Mammootty's 'The Priest' look. While Mammootty's avatar is calm and poised, Siju's is more intense. Well, a few netizens have also shared their thoughts on the same.

Directed by Jijo Joseph, 'Varayan' has Siju Wilson and Leona Lishoy playing the lead roles. The movie's story and screenplay are by Danny Capuchin. Jude Anthony, Joy Mathew, Vijayaraghavan, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Jayashankar, Aristo Suresh, Da Vinci, Seven Pannu Baiju, Antinad Sasi and Deepak Kakkanad are also part of the cast.

Editing is by Johnkutty. Camera - Rajeesh Raman, Lyricist - Hari Narayanan, Music - Prakash Alex, Choreography - Prasanna Master, Production Controller - Binu Murali, Project Design - Joji Joseph. AG Premachandran is bankrolling the film under his banner Satyam Cinemas. Filming is underway in Alappuzha and surrounding areas.
