SIIMA 2015 nominations list

The biggest and the most anticipated South Indian International Movie Awards- SIIMA is back with its 4th edition of awards on the 6th& 7th August in Dubai.

Taking the South Indian Movie industry onto a global platforms, SIIMA nomination process is executed by a panel of veteran judges from Tamil,  Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam industries, followed by online voting for the final verdict of winner selections.

This year, leading with the highest number of nominations in various select categories of Telugu order is Manam and Race Gurram.

Vikram Kumar directed drama film – Manam starring Naga Chaitanya and Samantha has been nominated in 11 categories like Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director etc. Also amounting to nominations in 11 categories of Telugu order is romantic action-comedy Race Gurram which is directed by Surender Reddy, featuring Allu Arjun and ShrutiHaasan who are nominated in categories like Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Director etc.

Also called as Tollywood, the Telugu film industry has come a long way from directing silent films in its earlier phase. This year SIIMA 2015 has lined up in its category of Best Film, movies like Manam, Legend, Race Gurram, Govindudu Andharivadele and ChandamaKathalu.

Also in the race for the category of Best Actor are Mahesh Babu,Venkatesh, Naga Chaitanya, Balakrishna and Allu Arjun while the leading ladies in the category of Best actress are Nayantara, Shruti Hasan,RakulPreet, Kajal Agarwal and Samantha. The directors competing in the category of Best Director are Srivas(Loukyam), Surender Reddy(Race Gurram), Vikram Kumar (Manam), BoyapatiSrinu (Legend) and Srikanth Addala(Mukunda).

Coming this August to Dubai on the 6th& 7th August, by bringing together the best of South Film Industry, SIIMA would witness the best of Entertainment being awarded. Opening to public voting on June 17th (Wednesday), fans could vote for their favourite stars and movies on SIIMA's official website.
