Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who admitted to being the mastermind behind Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's killing, has now disclosed that he was also plotting to kill Bollywood star Salman Khan in 2018.
Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently being interrogated by the Delhi police regarding Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, has revealed that he had appointed one of his gang members to shoot Salman Khan back in 2018. However, the shooter apparently couldn’t get a proper aim as he was using a pistol, following which Bishnoi bought an RK Spring rifle worth Rs 4 lakh.
“Sampat Nehra, a key member of the Bishnoi gang went to Mumbai a couple of years back and he stayed there with the intention of killing Salman Khan. When Sampat Nehra was arrested in 2018, he also revealed about the gang's plan to kill Salman Khan. A rifle was also seized from Sampat Nehra which was purchased for this purpose,” a news agency quoted its source as saying.
Days after the murder of Sidhu Moosewala, Salman Khan received a letter at his residence threatening him with dire consequences. The letter was a reference to the singer’s unfortunate death. “Salim Khan, Salman Khan bahot jald aapka Moose wala hoga (Salim Khan, Salman Khan very soon you will meet the fate of Moose Wala),” the letter’s content read. Soon after, Mumbai police reached Galaxy Apartments, Salman’s house in Bandra, and increased the security around the building.
