Despite his popularity and talent, Sidharth was never to eager to make career in films.
Soon after the release of 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania', Sidharth shared that he was quite happy with what he got to do. Throui the filming and marketing of the film, he didn't feel overshadowed by two big co-stars i.e, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. So ultimately he didn't regret doing the film but he wasn't keen on continuing either.
“Now until I get something as appealing as Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania I am back giving all my time to television," he said. Apparently, television was always the priority for Sidharth who was well known for his roles in shows like 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Dil Se Dil Tak'.
