Sidharth Malhotra's recent release Kapoor and Sons has won the actor immense applauds. The actor`s character portrayal is something that was loved by the audiences. In fact, what we learn is that Sidharth`s character was something that writers have related to in real life.

As per our sources, a struggling writer has written to Sidharth empathizing with his character Arjun in the film. Sidharth's character story in the film that features of his story idea being stolen and this very story is being related by this particular struggling writer. In fact this also happens in real life widely and this was exactly what the writer has expressed to the actor. The actor expressed his sympathy to the writer after knowing this.

Sidharth is glad when he learnt that his on screen character has struck a chord with real life audiences. Said Sidharth, "It was sad to know that he is experiencing this in real life!
