Sidharth Malhotra's much anticipated movie 'Shershah' released recently. The movie was quite challanging for Sidharth as he had to act more than one character. First he had to portray Captain Vikram Batra in two phases of his life (the civilian one and the army one). Apart from that he also had to play Captain Batra's identical twin Vishal Batra.

The actor recently opened up about the first dual role of his career. "Vikram and Vishal are twin brothers so it was quite exciting to portray both of them on screen," Sidharth said. He further added, "What I really loved was while they were twins, they have very distinct personalities and I had to understand both of them emotionally to be able to show the difference in them. Even though the film follows Vikram Batra's life, there are small parts of Vishal Batra that I got to play."

Sidharth also underwent massive transformation to accurately portray Vikram Batra's carefree younger phase and strong and courageous army phase.
