After impressing the audience with his electrifying performance in the film 'Shershah', actor Sidharth Malhotra is all set to make a mark with his upcoming film 'Mission Majnu'. According to latest developments, the film has a release date now and it is going to hit the screens on 13th of May 2022. Sidharth took to Instragram to share this update and he also treated fans with a still from the film.

The picture features Sidharth in a period setting where he can be seen holding a vintage telephone in a dimly lit room. The caption on the post read, "Get ready to be a part of India’s greatest covert operation that derailed Pakistan’s illicit Nuclear Ambitions! Inspired by real events, #MissionMajnu releasing on 13th May 2022 in a cinema near you."

South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is going to make her Bollywood debut with this project and she's quite excited to share screen with Sidharth Malhotra. She said, "He is my senior and a wonderful guy. He’s loaded with star qualities, but is down-to-earth and helpful. He has often guided me on the use of the dialect we have to speak in the film, and has also helped me nail my performance. When I perform a scene, I always look out for what my co-actor feels. I need to see whether my emotions strike a chord with him or her. If they react in the right manner, then I know I will be able to convey those emotions to the audience, too.”
