The movie 'Aashiqui' was a sensational hit ages ago, and then came 'Aashiqui 2' which was a successful hit at the box office. Seems like the makers of the movie are keen on making the third installment 'Aashiqui 3'. The movie 'Aashiqui 2' featured Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor who became the most wanted couple of the season. Now we get to know that, actor Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt will features in Aashiqui 3`.

Currently, the film's producer Mukesh Bhatt has not given much detail on the subject or on the lead characters of the film. But it was 'Kapoor and Sons' actor Sidharth who finally let the cat out of the bag. Sidharth confirmed the news saying that, "I and Alia will be staring in the film and it is a great franchise to be a part of. I will also be seen playing a guitar in the film, I have also started on training to play the guitar. Currently my goal is to train and sing for the film".

Alia and Sidharth were last seen in 'Kapoor & Sons', they have also earlier worked together in 'Student Of The Year'. On career basis, Sidharth is working on an action film with Jacqueline Fernandez, while Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up shooting for Gauri Shinde's next that features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
