Sidharth Malhotra is euphoric with the positive feedback and appreciation his latest film Ek Villain` has been receiving. According to our trade reports, the film has opened at a magical number crossing 16 crores.

He wanted to thank everyone who was in any way a part of the film and hosted an impromptu party at his place for them yesterday. The young actor personally put together the guest list and made the calls. This included the Bhai of B-Town, Salman Khan and his co-star in Kick` Jacqueline Fernandez and Karan Johar. Besides, the party was graced by the cast and crew of Ek Villain` namely, director Mohit Suri who was accompanied by wife Udita Goswami, producer Ekta Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh among others.

Even though Sidharth has been in Mumbai since a couple of years and his last two outings at the box office have been very successful, one has not seen Sidharth celebrating success in this fashion. This is the first time the actor has thrown any kind of a party himself. So last night there was a small get together celebration at Sidharth's bachelor pad in Bandra and it went on till the wee hours. Our insiders in fact revealed, Sidharth who doesn't drink usually did have three four drinks to mark the big occasion.

Incidentally the Student` star was anxious before the release of Ek Villain`, since it had a different role for him and he was pushing the envelope with this one. The actor who has earlier done romantic roles (Student of the Year and Hasee Toh Phasee) and has the boy next door image was seen in an edgy and grungy space this time.
