Multi-lingual actor Sonu Sood has now got a temple dedicated to him by the locals of Dubba Tanda village of Siddipet district, Telangana. The temple was inaugurated on Sunday. The locals said that the 'Arundhati' actor has helped them through his humanitarian efforts during the lockdown.

Reacting to the gesture, the 'Dookudu' actor described it as an extremely overwhelming moment. "That said, I don’t deserve this. I see myself as a common man," Sood, who has been in the news for helping migrant workers this Summer, commented.

Known for organizing food drives and sponsoring the surgeries of children of poor parents, Sood has also been into employment-generating drives.

Sonu Sood will be doing a key role in 'Acharya'. The other day, he described Chiranjeevi as one of the nicest and the most humble actor he has worked with. The Megastar, replying to him, tweeted, "You are one of the finest human beings. Keep up your amazing work to help the needy & keep inspiring lakhs more. More power to you!
