Anish Kuruvilla had earlier directed a film called ‘Avakai Birayani’ and it failed to weave magic at the Box Office and turned out to be a dud. Now this director, narrated a story to young hero Siddhartha, who was very much impressed with the storyline.

Siddhartha is always in the habit of encouraging new talents and he worked with a newcomer for his forthcoming film ‘180’ and his next film ‘O My Friend’ to be produced by Dil Raju would also have a new face to wield the megaphone.

Anish, who was a protégé of Sekhar Kammula, failed to gain any opportunity with his debut film turning out to be a flop. However, Siddhartha agreed to promote this flop director to give him the necessary break as director with his movie.
