The pre-release event of 'Bhairava Geetha' was held on Friday in Hyderabad. Ahead of the movie's release on November 30, the film's cast and crew members sounded very confident.
Speaking on the occasion, the film's co-writer Ram Gopal Varma said, "I have directed and produced a number of movies in the past. To me, direction is all about using the material available to create something cinematic. Everything depends on how the director translates what is on paper into visuals. How well or bad he does is what matters. Siddhartha Thatholu (he is all of 23 and is the debutant director of 'Bhairava Geetha') had worked as an assistant under me on some movie. He used to offer some valuable editing-related inputs back then. He is very intelligent," RGV said.
About the director, Varma added, "During the making of a web series titled 'Kadapa', he offered to cut the trailer himself. I liked the creative spark in him. Before giving him the responsibility of directing 'BG', I had my doubts. If someone says that he can do something even though he is not capable, he must be either mad or a fraud. Siddhartha is neither. After watching the first schedule's rushes of the movie, I was shocked. I had my own imagination about the movie when the script was being written. The way it was made, it completely shocked me."
RGV said that Siddhartha had never worked as an assistant under anybody, much like Mani Ratnam and Sekhar Kapoor. He added that 'BG' is a complex movie.
