The most popular Disney group after tasting success earlier this year with the live action version of their 1992 blockbuster Aladdin, is all set to arrive next with the live action version of their 1994 animated classic hit "The Lion King".
This movie is gearing up for release on July 19, on occasion of the 25th anniversary of release of the animation version, and the team is planning to have a grand release in India as well, with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and other regional languages.
It has been announced that actor Siddharth will be lending his voice for Simba character in the Tamil version of The Lion King. Sharing the news on Twitter, Siddharth tweeted "It's a huge honour to voice #Simba in #Tamil in #TheLionKing. It is that extra bit special because I'm the biggest fan of the genius @donaldglover. I hope I have managed at least a fraction of the magic that he has in the film. Thank you #Disney and @Jon_Favreau for this."
