Actor Siddharth who has been an active personality on social media, regularly voices out his opinion on various social issues, and the political scenario existing in the country. Having been a person who openly voices out his opinion against PM Narendra Modi, he has opposed the CAB recently.

Siddharth had recently lashed out at ADMK voting for the passing of citizenship amendment bill, and had said that he felt ashamed to say that he belongs to the same state as the Chief minister Edapadi Palanisamy, besides also adding that had former CM Jayalalitha been alive, she would not have voted in favor of CAB.

Now, after the attacks on students and the violence and protests all over the nation, Siddharth has tweeted that peoplemust rise against fascism and that this divide and rule has been the strategy of the center always. He tweeted "First they will filter Muslims, then Christians, then other religions, then they will corner the oppressed castes and slyly go after the rights of women. They will always find a way to divide. They will always find a way to hate. This is their way. Say no to fascism! Save #India. And look how many people are talking about the economy. Distraction. Deception. Denial. These are the tools of fascists. Beware. Stand against fascism. Fight for what is right! #India All this tyranny is being done in our name, the majority, #Hindus. Be a good, proud Hindu. Don't let them do this in our name. They don't speak for us. They only speak for their divisive agenda. We're not threatened by minorities. We know our history. Stand up. Say no to fascism".
