Ever since Chinmayi started sexual misconduct allegations against Vairamuthu , actor Siddharth has been actively supporting her and the Me Too movement in Kollywood. Recently filmmaker Leena Manimegalai alleged that 'Thiruttu Payale' director Susi Ganesan tried to molest her in his car in 2005. The director has denied such an incident and claimed that Leena us taking revenge on him for refusing to take her as an assistant director.

The latest development is Siddharth making the serious claim that Susi Ganesan threatened his family.
