Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming movie, ‘Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene’, will feature a romantic song crooned by actor Siddharth. The versatile actor has sung quite a few Telugu and Tamil songs over the years, the most famous in Telugu being Bommarillu’s ‘Appudo Ipudo’ (a song each in ‘Oye’ and ‘Chukkallo Chandrudu’ were also popular).
The ‘NVNN’ song, titled ‘Excuse Me Rakshasi’ is Sid’s first Telugu number in a long time. It’s also his first song for an actor other than him.
Sundeep approached Sid with a request to croon it because he likes the latter’s voice a lot. The film is being produced by Sundeep himself. He was particular about involving his long-time friend Sid in the project in some or the other way. Music director Thaman too felt that Sid’s voice would be apt for the song.
“Siddharth helped me when I was a struggling actor. I have always admired him since my college days,” Sundeep says with fondness.
