Siddharth had earlier registered his opinions on Producers Council giving special permission to four film crews including ‘Vijay 62’ to continue shooting despite the strike. The actor had opined that the council must treat all producers equally.

The actor however received flak from netizens for his tweet with Ajith and Vijay fans going ballistic over the same. Siddharth took to his social page once again to express himself. “If you want to know what will not add 1 paisa value to Tamil Cinema, please read last 100 replies on my timeline. Filthy language, thevayillatha poison, sambandhamillatha kovam. Two sets of few jobless idiots spoiling everyone's name and time. Paavam Vijay-Ajith,” he said. 

But seems like the actor has come at the receiving end of fans angst with many blowing their fuse over his ‘paavam vijay-ajith’ (an expression of pity) reference.Here's the tweet below:
