Siddharth who was recently on the headlines rumouring about his relationship with Aditi Rao Hydari has shared a sweet note to his acting Guru Kevel Arora who retired yesterday. Taking to his Instagram, he shared a photo along with a heartfelt note.
Siddharth wrote, "Spent the evening with my favourite teacher. Keval Arora, English professor extraordinaire (he never taught me. I did Commerce) has been a student of Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, then came back to teach English here but also become the staff advisor of our precious theatre society #ThePlayers and has been here his whole adult, teaching life."
The Boys actor said that he felt privileged to have trained under him as an actor. "In many ways, what I do as an actor today and how I approach performance art, I owe entirely to Keval. I was privileged to train under him in a very challenging play called “Gum & Goo” by Howard Brenton. Tonight 25 years later, we read lines on stage from the play for him in the audience. It was surreal."
The actor revealed that he was with his guru on the day of his retirement along with many others and thanked him for all the teachings. "Keval Arora is retiring today. I feel very lucky that I got to spend an evening with him and hundreds of players aged 17-♾ and had the most remarkable celebration in Delhi, one I will never forget. I will always love you Keval. Thank you for being you. Thank you for everything. You will always be my favourite learning experience. Go well great man and let’s do this again soon. ❤️" he concluded.
