It is straight from the horse's mouth. So, you have to believe it. Siddharth has had many love affairs over the years. This is the reason why he was inspired to act in, and produce, a film curiously entitled Love Failure. Speaking at the trailer launch function of his home production's Tamil version 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi', he said that he had many love affairs and as a result, many bad experiences too. "This has prompted me to produce a movie which deals with present day romance", the actor told journalists in Chennai.

Besides co-producing the film, in association with cinematographer Nirav Shah and Y Not Studios, Siddharth has played the protagonist as well.

"I came across the story when Balaji Mohan made it as a 10-minute short film. I immediately wanted him to direct it as a feature film. I also decided to produce it besides doing the lead role", Siddharth said.

Amala Paul is playing Siddharth's love interest in this film. Music is by Thaman, while cinematography by Nirav Shah.

At a time when he is growing in popularity in Tamil, he said that he will do more and more films in Kollywood. "I love to do Tamil films. Henceforth, I will be part of Kollywood ventures in regular intervals", signed off the actor-producer.
