Director Sasi, known for his interesting movies like Sollamale, Roja Koottam, Poo, 555 etc, had last delivered the 2016 Superhit movie Pichaikaran starring Vijay Antony in lead role. The movie's Telugu dubbed version Bichagadu was also a blockbuster surprisingly.

Now the director is ready with his next movie - Sivappu Manjal Pachai which stars Siddharth and GV Prakash in lead roles. The movie has an interesting premise of the conflicts between a traffic police man played by Siddharth and a street racer played by GV Prakash, and their love stories.

Produced by Ramesh Pillai under Abhishek Films, it has been speculated that the team Sivappu Manjal Pachai is planning to release the movie on July 5 and an official announcement is expected soon. The movie has newbies Lijimol Jose and Kashmira Pardesi as female leads, and has music by debutant Sidhu Kumar.
