The vote counting of the Lok Sabha elections were conducted yesterday, and BJP had achieved a massive victory winning close to 300 seats, and resulting in a massive upset for Congress party lead by Rahul Gandhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be retaining his throne serving another term.

Except for Tamilnadu and Kerala, nowhere Congress could succeed and the complete results are awaited to assess if they will be the opposition in the parliament. While Congress president Rahul Gandhi conceded defeat to Smriti Irani in Amethi and also tweeted congratulating BJP, actor Siddharth has tweeted, hitting Congress on its weaknesses and questioning if the party is in death bed.

Siddharth had tweeted "#Congress should consider changing their team name like #DelhiDaredevils. There are only so many thrashings under an incapable leader and self goals that any party can take. Is the grand old party of Independent India on its death bed? #IndianElections2019". Siddharth used to rip apart Modi and BJP with his sharp tweets and now he has questioned Congress after the shocking defeat.
