Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi has started to open up about the romantic aspect of his life in recent interviews. Post the release of his film 'Gehraiyaan', Siddhant talked about why he prefers to keep his relationships secret and now he has opened up about the time he had to break up with his girlfriend of 4 years. Siddhant revealed that at the age of 20, he found himself at a place where he had to choose between love and career.

The actor told Filmfare, “I had clarity when I was 20 and had a major heartbreak. I was with this girl for four years and wanted to settle down with her. I was quite sorted. I wanted to settle down with her and she wanted a simple life. I was doing my CA at that time but then I chose to switch my career."

Sharing how things played out, Siddhant said, "That didn’t go down well with her. We wanted two different things in life and that was really heartbreaking because I had to choose between love and ambition. And I chose ambition. I remember telling her that I wanted to perform on stage and will make sure I reach there. And here I am."

On the work front, Siddhant will soon be seen in films like 'Phoon Bhoot', 'Yudhra' and others.
