Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi is eagerly awaiting the release of his film 'Gehraiyaan' where he'll be seen sharing screen with Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey and Dhairya Karwa. Recently, during a special screening, Siddhant's parents got an opportunity to watch the film and apparently, they were quite impressed by it.

However, Siddhant himself was quite embarrassed about the whole affair (probably because the film had a lot of intimate scenes). Out of this embarassment, he avoided seeing or talking to his parents on the screening day. Ultimately, Siddhant's father had a chat with him about the film over phone.

According to a recent report in The Indian Express, Siddhant's father said, "Yeh film samaaj ka darpan hai. Ismay kuch sahi galat nahi hai.’ (It holds a mirror to the society). Koi message nahi de rahe hai hum. (It’s not giving any message.) The world has changed and these kinds of stories exist. We are not promising you a Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge or Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.”

'Gehraiyaan' is set to release on 11th of February on Amazon Prime Video.
