Karntaka chief-minister Siddaramaiah has assured that stringent action would be taken against the killers of Bajrang Dal cadre Kadipalli Deepak Rao. He also appealed to BD and BJP cadres not to precipitate the issue anymore.
Siddaramaiah was at Hassan District yesterday where he launched many welfare measures ahead of Assembly polls to be held in the State in May this year. Later, speaking to newsmen, he appealed to BD and BJP cadres not to precipitate the issue of murder of Bajrang Dal worker Deepak Rao as the Govt. was taking adequate measures to nab the killers of Rao, who was murdered on Wednesday.
“We are aware of the value of a single human’s life and would ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are brought to book at the earliest. Already, four persons have been taken into custody in connection with the murder and the police are investigating. I appeal to the BJP and other parties not to politicize the issue further so as to ensure prevalence of communal harmony.
“It is not a healthy trend to demand the resignation of the State’s Home Minister for each and every crime occurring in the State,” Siddaramaiah concluded.
