A remake of super hit 'Mynaa' the Kannada version is very well executed on silver screen with four characters and cameraman shouldering the interest of the audience in this love cum sentiment film set in the village backdrop.

Golden star Ganesh, Bhama, Rangayana Raghu and Suchindra Prasad have given a struggling performance that are touching and melts very hard persons. The film has different shades like pure love, good hearts, and opportunistic moments, humanity and height of anger tucked give many anxious moments for the audience.

Director Narayan expertise is visible in every frame and the travelogue in the dense forest and Tea plantations in the long shots at Munnar region are spectacular.

Manja (Ganesh) and Shyloo (Bhama) immensely attached from childhood are inseparable pairs. Manja has contributed to the growth and well being of Shyloo and her mother is an opportunist. Manja knowing that Shyloo is missing from him attempt to throw a stone on Shyloo mother. That lands Manja in the prison for one month. Manja totally lost in Shyloo escape the prison a day before his completion of term. Shyloo wants to live with Manja is certain. At the prison escape of Manja is tough task for jailor Bhasker and constable Ramaiah.

On knowing police entry Shyloo and Manja escapes. Jailor Bhasker and Ramaiah follow the lovers and catch them to bring back Manja to prison. Bhasker want to reach his house for first Deepavali after marriage and his wife is filled with anger at home. She is frequenting dodging her husband. The anger of his wife later takes drastic step. As the way is lost for Bhasker and Ramaiah with the lovers it takes more time to come to prison. In the meantime the pure heart of Manja and Shyloo saves the jailor and constable from virtual death in a bus accident. The scenario changes now. The cops want to save the lovers at any cost.

Finally it is the tragedy for the lovely couple and Jailor Bhasker takes the extreme step in his life.

It is a powerful performance filled with blood curdling moments from Golden star Ganesh and Bhama. They make a good pair. The natural looks, natural performance and nature surrounded are magnificent portions of this film.

The best part comes up from Rangayana Raghu as constable Ramaiah and Suchindra Prasad as Jailor. The two actors have given splendid performance and lived up to their age and status in the field of art. Sureschandra drawing away from the usual role as father of Golden star Ganesh is superb in his modulation of voice.

Jagadish Wali has brought almost the national geography on screen with his splendid wide angle shots. He deserves some awards for this film. Two songs of Shyloo - title track and Edeyolage.are melodious. Puneeth Rajakumar sung Pada Pada..is good in lyrics and Pankaj Narayan steals the show in this song.

'Shyloo' is heart touching cinema. This should not have happened to the lovers you would feel. Go watch it.
