'Shyam Singha Roy', which is one of the upcoming movies starring Sai Pallavi, stars Nani in the lead. Marking the actress' birthday today (May 9), her first look from the movie was released.

Sharing it on Twitter, the Natural Star wished the his 'MCA' co-star and called her 'Chinni garu'. The film features the 'Fidaa' actress as a participant in the Bengali Durga Pujo. The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, is partly set in Kolkata.

The film also features 'Uppena' sensation Krithi Shetty in a key role. Madonna Sebastian of 'Premam' fame is also a heroine. Produced by Venkat S Boyanapalli, Mickey J Meyer is its music director. Rahul Ravindran, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam are part of the cast.

As for Sai Pallavi, she is also doing 'Virata Parvam' and 'Love Story' in Telugu. These two films will hit the screens this year, while 'SSR' recently wrapped up a key schedule in Hyderabad. It's said that the film will enter its post-production phase soon.
