Director Rahul Sankrityan's 'Shyam Singha Roy' will hit the screens tomorrow (December 24). The young filmmaker has said that, if ever there is a second edition of the film, he would like to cast Pawan Kalyan as the hero.
"There is fire in him. By default, he is a Shyam Singha Roy. He has got a massive fan base. If he does a subject like 'Shyam Singha Roy', it will be a blast in theatres," Rahul, who is known for 'Taxiwala', told IndiaGlitz.
As for Jr NTR, he said, "I want to do a film that has subtle emotions as the crux and where masterly, Al Pacino-like performance is required of him. I want to cast him as a cold-blooded don."
How does he want to see Prabhas? "We have seen him in humongous roles already. Unless I can go beyond what 'Baahubali', 'Chatrapathi' have done, I should not do a film with him," Rahul adds.
The filmmaker describes Allu Arjun as one of the most interesting stars. "He is an evolving star. He has been growing and growing. I had a comedy film for him in mind at one point. But it doesn't suit him in the renewed image," he says.
Finally, about Mahesh Babu, Rahul says, "He looks like a sky to me. He is boundless. I am unable to fit him into a space. He is fluid and I want to do a challenging subject with him."
