Noted Malayalam film actress Shwetha Menon, to whom we Kollywood movie buffs where introduced to through Snegithiye, where she essayed a rough-tough police official, and in ‘Naan Avan Illai 2’ as Nisha, is now hitched.

The actress tied the knots with Srivatsan, who hails from Trissur and is working at Mumbai. He is the grandson of a famous poet Vallathol. Srivatsan is currently working as the Vice President of a Mumbai based corporate firm.

It was held at Velacherry Indira Sadanam in the Malappuram district. The wedding was a private affair graced by a few of her relatives. In fact, Geethu Mohandas was the only film celebrity who was spotted during the wedding.

Meanwhile, Shwetha's latest Malayalam movie 'Rathinirvedham' has made a spectacular opening in Kerala. The low budget fare, a remake of the seventies classic bearing the same title, is largely applauded by the youth audiences of the state.
