After creating two continuous hits in 'Rathinirvedam' and the recent 'Salt & Pepper', Shwetha Menon is once again into the helm of activity. Recently married to a journo Sreevtsan Menon, Shwetha also announced that she will not be doing any glamour roles in future and has turned down many offers that came up in similar moulds. The thinking actress she is, Shwetha never took time to accept a cameo in Vasanth Balan's Aravaan'. In the Tamil movie with Aadhi, Pasupathy, Archana Kavi and Bharath in lead roles, Shwetha Menon will be in the role of a 'Dasi'.

Shwetha Menon has also accepted the role of a movie director in the new movie titled as 'Actress'. Directed y Mohanakrishnan, the movie is said to offer a strong role for the actor in her. The movie's shoot will start this October.
