After a short wait, the people of Kerala will get to see the film voted as the most popular film of the year's International Film Festival of Kerala, 2012.Yes, Shutter, the movie which was an official entry in the competition section of the film festival will start its commercial screening in Kerala theatres from today

Written and directed by theatre actor and scenarist Joy Mathew the film features Lal, Sreenivasan and Vinay Fort in the cast lists. Also featuring Riya Saira, Sajitha Madathil as the heroines, the movie is set and filmed in Kozhikode, and tells a tale that happens in two days and a night .

Resul Pookutty does the sound design while the music is by Shahabaz Aman. The film, notably features a poem by Pablo Neruda, set to music and sung by Shahabaz Aman.

The film marks the directorial debut of Joy Mathew who shot to fame with John Abraham"s classic flick Amma Ariyan. It is also the comeback of National award-winning cinematographer Hari Nair into Mollywood cinema. The movie will take on 'David and Goliath' and 10.30 am Local call', which will also reach theatres today .
