Ranbir Kapoor starrer upcoming period drama 'Shamshera' is one of the most talked about film of Bollywood. A major reason behind film's hype and popularity is Sanjay Dutt's casting as the menacing antagonist Daroga Shuddh Singh, who has intrigued the audience since the trailer launch. In a recent conversation with a news outlet, Sanjay Dutt talked about his character and shared that it is scary and adorable at the same time.

Dutt told India Today, "'Shamshera' is an out-and-out commercial film. I was waiting to do a movie like this. Karan always picks some wacky looks for me. He works a lot on his characters. Even in Agneepath, he had a certain look for me that was much loved. In this (Shamshera) film, my character is scary, but at the same time, pyaara bhi hain."

Sanju further added, "When Karan comes to me, he simply says 'yeh role karna hain' and I just agree to it. I don't listen to the role or anything else. We have learned to trust him so much."

Also starring Vaani Kapoor, 'Shamshera' is set to release theatrically on 22nd of July.
