Hit badly in the box office again in 'Mallikarjuna' producer Dinesh Gandhi is producing a film titled 'Shubamangala' with another bad luck director Srinivasaraju of Sangathi and Kote.

'Shubamangala' title Kannada cinema is a blockbuster in Kannada cinema. It was directed by SR Puttannakanagal. 35 years later 'Shubamangala' title is repeated in Kannada cinema now. It was in 1975 Raghunandan International produced this film. Srinath, Arathi, Shivaram, Seetharam, Ambarish, Shivaram and others were in the lead roles.

For the 2011 'Shubamangala' Srinagara Kitty is appearing in Srinath role. One round of talk is over with Ramya to play the 'Yee Shathamanadha Madari Hennu... (popular song in the film on lady of this century in the original film).

Director Srinivasa Raju has made some modifications to the 35 years old subject.
