Shruti's big day today

This is the second release of Shruti Haasan in less than three weeks. Even as '7aum Arivu', her maiden acting venture in Tamil, running in cinema halls all over Tamil Nadu, the actress's Telugu flick 'Oh My Friend' with Siddharth is hitting the screens today.

Interestingly, while the dubbing version of '7aum Arivu', titled 7th Sense' is making good revenues in Andhra Pradesh, 'Oh My Friend' is releasing in Telugu itself in Tamil Nadu. Some of the top multiplexes of Chennai are screening the movie from today.

Hansika Motwani is the other heroine of the film, which is a youthful romantic entertainer with a lot of feel good elements. Remember the film's protagonist Siddharth and Shruti were rumoured as pair in real life too until a few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Shruti is elated at the response she has been getting for her performance in '7aum Arivu'. Dad (Kamal Haasan) always used to say that audiences are everything and they are the ultimate deciding authority. I am happy with their verdict for 7aum Arivu, she says.
