Shruti takes a break

Shruti Haasan's music talent and love are an open secret. But the actress-singer-musician, who recently crooned a song in 'Shamitabh', is forced to take a break from music.
"Yes, I can not think of music this year, as I have to act in seven films. So music has to take a back seat," says Shruti, who composed for her legendary father Kamal Haasan's 'Unnaipol Oruvan'.
On working with maestro Ilayaraja for the 'Shamitabh' song, which was based on evergreen Tamil hit 'Aasaiya Kaathula Thoothu Vittu...', Shruti says, "It was a great privilege. He is a genius."
