Not bogged with poor response of her first Bollywood debut ‘Luck’, Shruti Haasan has no regrets. The elder daughter of Kamal Haasan is not the one to call quits so easily. For she said, “I was satisfied with my role in Luck and I am proud of the film. The fact that the film didn’t do well can’t take away my hard work.” That’s a go-getter, we say! But did you know that this girl was also part of ‘Hey Ram’? Yes, she had worked in this Kamal’s movie by doing a cameo and also sung a song in it.

This pretty lass may have not gone well with her acting, but Shruti has surely made the toes dance with her music. Well known for her rock-styled musical compositions, these days Miss Haasan is making waves with her father’s forthcoming movie, ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, both simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu as ‘Eenadu’. An admirer of AR Rahman and Ilaiyraaja, Shruti has truly given distinct style of music, by keeping the audience in mind.

Now, going on Shruti’s like-dislikes, this papa’s girl doesn’t seem to be in favour of reading reviews. For, earlier she had read the review of ‘Hey Ram’ and was deeply hurt with the way the film was criticized. Hmm, once bitten twice shy…

Shruti, don’t take the reviews seriously; you keep working hard… our best wishes with you!
