Shruti invited by PM's office

It was only recently Dhanush was invited by the Prime Minister's office to take part in a dinner hosted to Japanese Prime Minister. And now, the PM's office has invited the actor's co-star in '3', Shruti Haasan, for a similar event.

T he actress-singer-musician will be one of the special guests for the State dinner Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be hosting at his Race Course residence in New Delhi for his Mauritian counterpart Navin Ramgoolam.

Extremely happy about the invitation, Shruti, the elder daughter of Kamal Haasan, said, I am honoured and at the same time, excited! I consider myself very lucky to get this opportunity so early in my life.

The '7aum Arivu' girl, who has just completed shooting for '3', is currently standing in front of the camera with Pawan Kalyan for 'Gabbar Singh', the Telugu remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg', which was remade in Tamil as 'Osthi' by Dharani-Simbu.

Sudhir Babu-starrer SMS was today awarded U/A by the Censor Board. The romantic-comedy, directed by Tatineni Sathya, saw appreciation from the Board members, who expressed delight, said a statement from the filmmakers.
