After Gabbar Singh, Shruti Hassan is a sought-after actress. Not only has she been increasingly approached for roles opposite NTRs and Nitins, but also her views on acting are sought by some. Ask her if she does home work, pat comes the reply that she never needed to do it. For the Hassan girl, acting is more spontaneous than methodical.

"One needs to observe the people one gets to meet in their daily lives," she coins. In saying this, she is very close to Amala Paul's idea of acting. This award-winning actress had told IndiaGlitz, that observing the behaviour of her friends in college was all she did before approaching her role in Love Failure.

Dancing, feels Shruti, is a different ball game though. "At a time when actresses are dancing competitively, one should come with some amount of training so as to make a mark," she feels.

Shruti is unlike her father, who is known to put in great deal of hard work and even endure pain to do difficult roles. If an extraordinary role was offered to her, she would of course approach it aptly.
