Bollywood 2013 sleeper hit starring Rishi Kapoor, Arjun Ram Pal, Irfan Khan and Shruti Hassan is being dubbed in Tamil titled 'Dawood' with an eye to cash on the popularity Shruti Hassan has in Tamil. However, it looks that all is not well with the producers of Tamil version and the sleek sizzler. The reason as sources say is the role she'd played in the film, which is a raunchy prostitute from Karachi and the intimate scenes between her and Arjun Rampal.

The actress has written to the media dissociating herself with the film and even mentioning a possible legal action against the producers too. Here is her letter to the press:

Respected people of the Media.

I am grateful for your kind support always. This is to inform you all that I am dis associating myself from the release of D-Day in Tamil called Dawood as it is being done without my consent or approval and is a clear breach of contract. In fact, we will be taking a legal action on this issue.

As soon as the paperwork is done, I will release the details to press for further clarification. Once again, I sincerely appreciate the perennial support I have received from my media friends through out my professional endeavors..

Thanks and Regards
Shruti Haasan.
