Actress Shruti Hariharan has announced her pregnancy in a novel way by posting a blurred photo of her exposing her baby bump.  She has captained it "“To actually feel life beating within you .... to know that this is the beginning of a whole new journey… and to finally acknowledge that clarity is over rated and sometimes it's all about the blur - brings us to this point. Welcome to the circus little peanut. We can't wait to see you.”

Shruti Hariharan who has acted in several Kannada films has also starred in Tamil her mother tongue in titles 'Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathey', 'Solo' and 'Nibunan'.  She has kept her marriage a secret for a long time and has only revealed recently that her husband in actor-dancer Raam.

Shruti was in the news last year when she accused veteran actor Arjun of sexual misconduct during the shooting of 'Nibunan'/'Vismaya' and also lodged a police complaint.  Arjun has filed a defamation case for rupees five crores.
