While the buzz surrounding Ajith`s next film has it that Shruti Haasan would be seen in the role of a cabbie, the latest we hear is that the pretty damsel would play a lawyer in Thala 56`.
Apparently, Ajith would be seen in the role of cab driver while Shruti, a lawyer, plays his love interest in the film directed by Siruthai Siva. Ashwin Kakumanu is expected to play Lakshmi Menon`s pair in the film, which recently wrapped up an overseas schedule.
Meanwhile, Shruti has signed another Bollywood film opposite Ajay Devgn. Baadshaho`. The emotional drama also stars Lisa Haydon.
