Shruti Haasan to share screen with American actor Manu Narayan

'Rocky Handsome' actress Shruti Haasan has finally made her ticket to Hollywood. Yes you heard it right. This beauty and ravishing actress will soon be sharing screen with her dad Kamal Haasan for a tri-lingual film. This movie will be directed by Rajeev Kumar and it will also have a New York-based Indian-American actor Manu Narayan in the lead.

Actor Manu has shot to fame in 2004 when he played the lead in Adrew Llloyd Webber's Bombay Dreams (featuring A.R. Rahman's music). Sources say that, Manu and Shruti also share a common interest and that is passion for music and singing. When media asked Kamal Haasan, 'Why Manu?' He said, "Because he suits the character and looks well-matched with Shruti too."

Apart from 'Bombay Dreams,' the Indian-American actor has also done many stage dramas across the US. He has featured in Hollywood films like 'The Love Guru' and 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' and has also appeared in a number of TV shows such as 'Unforgettable', 'Deception'. '99 Homes' and many more to add on.
