Shruti Haasan to star as journalist in 'Singam 3'

'Rocky Handsome' actress Shruti Haasan is currently shooting for her upcoming South movie 'Singam 3' with South star Suriya in Vishakhapatnam. Media sources say that, she will be playing the role of a journalist in the film.

Media reports say that, "Shruti plays a Vidya, a journalist who helps Suriya crack a big case. By working together, they bring down the empire of the antagonist". This movie 'Singam 3' is the third installment in the 'Singam' franchise and it is directed by Hari which has music by Harris Jayaraj. This movie also stars Anushka Shetty and we will see Suriya is khaki again.

Shruti will be shooting for 'Singam 3' till the end of this month, before returning to the sets of her father Kamal Haasan's trilingual film 'Sabash Naidu'.
