Shruti Haasan to replace her best friend Tamannaah?

We had already reported that Director N. Lingusamy is going to remake his super hit 'Paiyaa' in Hindi as his comeback to the director seat after a long gap since his Anjaan' with Suriya and Samantha.
The Hindi version of Paiyaa' which is as yet untitled has Vidyut Jamal replacing Karthi as the hero and it is said that the team has approached Shruti Haasan to play the memorable heroine role played to perfection by Tamannaah. It is widely believed that Shruti has given her nod and the official announcement is expected soon.
