Shruti Haasan is currently working for the Tamil film 'Poojai', starring Vishal in the lead. 'Singam' fame Hari is the director of this film.

Vishal has been surprised with Shruti Haasan's hardworking and down to earth nature and said that Shruti Haasan is a thorough professional. He also said that Shruti is a very friendly co-star and he enjoys working with her.

Shruti Haasan is also working for the Bollywood films 'Welcome Back' and 'Gabbar' at present. 'Gabbar', starring Akshay Kumar in the lead, is the remake of Chiranjeevi's 'Tagore', which itself is a remake of A.R.Murugadoss - Vijayakanth's 'Ramana'. Telugu director Krish is directing 'Gabbar'.
