Shruti Haasan’s next film announced with a terrific first-look poster and title teaser!

Shruti Haasan, the leading South actress, will be next seen in the much-awaited 'Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire'. The Prabhas starrer hits the screens this Friday. Meanwhile, her next Pan-Indian venture was officially announced today. It is produced by SS Creations and Suniel Narang Production.

About a week ago, Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan revealed their official collaboration for a film directed by Shaneil Deo. Initially referred to as 'SeshXShruti,' the project has now been officially titled 'Dacoit.' The makers of the film unveiled the movie's first-look poster and announcement teaser today.

'Dacoit' is a content-driven Pan India movie which marks the feature directorial debut of Shaneil Deo. The 1.5-minute teaser shows Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan in a rugged avatar. They were pushing their way through a settled battlefield for a face-off filled with rage and revenge. It seems the two are playing soulmates turned arch-rivals in the movie.

The film has cinematography by Danush Bhaskar, musical score by Bheems Ceciroleo and editing by Kodati Pavan Kalyan with art direction by Sri Nagendra Tangala. Commenting on the film, Shruti says "The story is filled with anger, passion and elegance. I’m truly excited to be a part of Dacoit." The movie is presented by Annapurna Studios.
