Kajol has acted in only two Tamil movies 'Minsara Kanavu' and 'VIP 2' but she always remains a hot favourite with the audiences across time.  The ever pretty actress is teaming up with Shruti Haasan for a new short film titled 'Devi' directed by debutante Priyanka Banerjee and produced by Electric Apples Entertainment.

The first look of 'Devi' was released a few days back and Kajol had shared "BTS of Devi ...Thankyou Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Ivan Stephen for making me a part of this statement... Some things need to be seen to be understood on a deeper level.".

Shruti also gushed "My first ever short film with these incredible women!! Thankyou Electric Apples Entertainment for making me a part of this !! Has truly been a pleasure".  'Devi' also has Neha Dhupia, Neena Kulkarni, Mukta Barve, Sandhya Mhatre, Rama Joshi, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashaswini Dayama in the all-female cast.

Shruti will soon be seen in the Tamil movie 'Laabam' directed by S. P. Jananathan and costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapathy Babu and Kalaiarasan.
