Shruti Haasan is tired of comparisons

"It's impossible to perform like my parents. You can't compare -- be it a father and daughter or anyone else. Everyone is unique in their own way,” says a tired Shruti Haasan, when asked about being compared to Kamal Haasan and Sarika.

"In the early days of my career, it was not easy for me. People will come and easily sign you up because you are Kamal Haasan's daughter, but if your film fails to work, nobody is going to stand with you. You have to struggle on your own," Shruti added.

On the flip side, Shruti seems pretty excited with her latest release Gabbar Is Back, which has hit the screens on Friday. Talking about the film, she said: "I am quite excited because the content of the film and the character sketches are different.”
