Simbu is all set to be the busiest he has ever been post the lockdown with 'Maanaadu' and a possible comedy film with Venkat Prabhu both produced by Suresh Kamachi to begin shooing. He is also said to have agreed to resume 'Mufti' remake costarring Gautham Karthik and produced by Studio Green and also is in talks with Mysskin for a new project.

The Mysskin-Simbu project is said to be making headway and the latest on it is that Shruti Haasan is in talks to play the lead heroine role. If this works out then the pairing will be one of the most exciting. Already Shruti was approached to play the cameo role played by Andrea in Simbu's 'Idhu Namma Aalu' which did not work out. Director Badri Venkatesh has also stated that he wants to remake the Sripriya-Rajini-Kamal classic 'Aval Appadithaan' with Shruti-Simbu and Dulquer Salmaan.

Shruti Haasan's next release is 'Laabam' directed by S.P.Jananathan and costarring Vijay Sethupathi.
